Modify Your Mindset From “Unwilling To Do” To “CAN DO”

Modify Your Mindset From Unwilling To Can Do Modify Your Mindset From “Unwilling To Do” To “CAN DO”How many times have you heard the phrase, “Go the extra mile”?

_

I would imagine more times than you can count. Probably, so much that its impact has been diminished. If we apply this idiom to the business world, it could spark a host of new opportunities to achieve success. If you are willing to go the extra mile, it can set you apart from the competition. If you modify your mindset and have confidence in the fact that YOU CAN DO what others are unwilling to do, you are taking that first necessary step towards realizing your potential and minimizing competitors’ effect on your bottom line.

_

“The entrepreneur is essentially a visualizer and actualizer… He can visualize something, and when he visualizes it he sees exactly how to make it happen.” ~ Robert L. Schwartz (click to tweet)

_

Modifying your mindset is essential in the world of network marketing, an industry dependent upon relationships with clients, customers and colleagues. It’s commonly known that the top 5% have a different mindset than the remaining 95% engaged in this industry or, for that matter, any type of business. These 5-percenters simply choose to see the business world differently than all others.

_

Listed below are examples highlighting the subtle distinctions of the 5-percenters…those with a CAN DO mindset:

_

*They are risk-takers who realize that failure or losing is part of the ultimate process of winning. Because of this realization and comfort level associated with risk, they tend to easily adapt to marketplace changes and are able to capitalize on opportunities, leaving competitors behind.

_

*They have a positive attitude and use language such as, “If others can do it, so can I” and “I can make the time to get done what must be done.”

_

*They are decisive, quick to make decisions, slow to change their minds and understand that indecision causes inaction…a death sentence in the business world.

_

*They seek opportunity to develop, achieve and excel.

_

*They take responsibility for their actions, thus creating their own circumstances.

_

*They see with their minds – not their eyes, allowing them to capture opportunities others miss.

_

*They believe in the value of teamwork, of sharing and connecting with those of like minds.

_

*They persist until they succeed, unwilling to jump ship when things get tough.

_

*They are result-oriented and work the plan.

_

*They focus on the importance of “quality of life,” knowing that balance is essential.

_

*They mind their own business — not how you typically understand the meaning of this phrase – but by concentrating on their business, their plan, execution of the plan, investing and reinvesting resources until success is achieved.

_

Are you willing to modify your mindset from “unwilling to do” to “CAN DO”? If so, the benefits of network marketing and entrepreneurship are unlimited. You CAN achieve financial freedom by promoting a product or service you believe in. You CAN create your own, unique, business that captures and capitalizes upon a niche others have not addressed. You CAN be in charge of your destiny and reap the benefits, personally and professionally.

_

The question is, “Are you a 5-percenter?”

_

May success be your constant companion!

Business Concepts

Business Concepts Business ConceptsBusiness Concepts…

Re-Conceptualized!

_

The standard definition of business concepts is as follows:

A business concept comprises your vision of the company, explaining the value your product or service will bring to the customer, why you are especially qualified to offer it, as well describing your offering’s uniqueness and growth potential. (definition summarized)

_

What if we reconsider, or re-conceptualize, the term “business concepts” and apply it to ourselves…as small business owners and entrepreneurs?

_

What business concepts do we bring to the table?

In order to be successful as small business owners or entrepreneurs, the old sayings – “Patience is a virtue” and “All good things come to those who wait” – describe an essential concept demonstrated by virtually all successful professionals. Patience doesn’t come naturally to many of us and must be a learned behavior. If we find it difficult to wait for that “sweet spot” along the road to success, this concept may prove to be our downfall. However, if we are an inherently patient or have honed that trait, we will find it quite useful when tweaking our site to increase traffic…waiting to build an essential base of loyal followers…building a creative and engaging blog/web site and getting our brand/product/service notable enough to nurture a loyal following as well as repeat customers.

_

What value do we, as business owners, convey?

Do our reputations resonate soundly or have do we have a few professional skeletons lurking in the closet? Never underestimate the determination of our audience/potential customers’ abilities to thoroughly research who we are and how we’re regarded. Integrity and sound business practices are essential in the virtual business realm. A large segment of the population instinctively distrusts businesses based solely online. They are leery of dealing with such businesses due to the anonymity factor, all too often part and parcel of online businesses. The more information revealed (blogs, web sites, memberships in organizations such as the BBB or other distinctive affiliations/associations directly aligned with our niche) the better our odds of overcoming those prejudices/stereotypes. Never disregard the value of personal networking, community involvement and volunteerism as stepping stones — on so many levels (personally & professionally).

_

What qualifies us to offer a particular service or product?

This question ties directly into reputation. What experience, formal education and/or training do we bring to the table? If we have a proven track record of success, that speaks volumes…as do recommendations from past/present clients and colleagues.

_

What makes us unique?

Consider this question from a personal perspective as well as from a client’s point of view. To achieve success as an entrepreneur, we must be thick-skinned and able to withstand the “survival of the fittest” culture pervasive in business. Please don’t regard this advice as free reign to undercut competitors or create a negative culture within our business. That is, most assuredly, the quickest path to disaster! However, we must be able to withstand the daily grind and do so with a generosity of spirit and willingness to give more than we take. Additionally, the ability to think creatively…to see opportunity where others see none…defines us as noteworthy and unparalleled in our field.

_

How do we visualize our growth or success?

The ability to be a bit unconventional can serve us well in today’s ever-changing business culture. There are times when a bit of quirkiness or novelty is just what it takes to push our vision from plans to progress! Most certainly, we shouldn’t disregard the necessity of solid business practices and planning. These steps should NOT be brushed aside simply because we have a FANTASTIC idea or product. It is only through careful planning that these ideas and/or products find their way into the marketplace. However, the ability to think beyond the “norm” is what can place us well ahead of competitors unable to visualize a new route to success.

_

This type of self-evaluation is crucial to our success. Let’s take stock of what novelty, what value, what originality we bring to the table. Let’s think in new and different ways…choose paths least taken…venture down unknown alleyways to innovatively achieve our success! (click to tweet)

How Social Media Helps Your Online Business

blog pic 8 141 300x243 How Social Media Helps Your Online BusinessUnless you’ve been living under a rock, you know that a large percentage of people use social media to build their businesses. Unfortunately, some people believe that utilizing social media sites is like magic for their business and…

BOOM bombWHT How Social Media Helps Your Online Business- instantaneous boost in profits! As a result, they litter their web pages with promotional links. Eventually, most business owners discover this method of marketing brings little to no increase in profitability.

_

Many businesses using social web sites don’t use them effectively. Posting too many promotional advertisements makes your followers nervous. They begin to wonder if you are a scam artist or a spammer. The key to using social media successfully is increasing brand visibility, building relationships and using contacts to produce leads.

_

Social media users trust web sites that they frequent. The last thing your contacts want is for their favorite site to become a platform filled with obtrusive advertising. If a social web site user is interested in your product, he or she will follow your profile. It is crucial to periodically update your profile with relevant, useful and interesting information – make yourself memorable and grab customers’ attention! (click to tweet)

_

If your profile offers something of value to your readers, they are more likely to trust you and your business. Followers will be more inclined to make purchases from your site. Your products should be professional and valuable to your clients, creating a desire to purchase from you on a regular basis. Securing satisfied, repeat customers allows you to rely on income generated online.

_

It is not enough to build a fan base and have a large following. You must concentrate on building relationships and sharing your knowledge. Once you capture their attention, you can then engage them and nurture the relationships. Truly understanding who your clients are and what they need enables you meet those needs and begin to see an increase in conversion statistics.

Are You Ignoring This Crucial Aspect to Your Online Business

Networking with Business Professionals 300x147 Are You Ignoring This Crucial Aspect to Your Online Business

Okay, fellow online business owners
,
I have a question for you.

When it comes to the success of your online business, where do you turn to for advice, feedback, resources, etc.?-

 -

  • Do you search through website after website, hoping to stumble on a random comment or an article about a topic that hits close to home?

  • Do you regularly post to a favorite blog ( ::ahem:: ) with any questions or concerns you might have?
    -

If you do these things, then you’re definitely on the right track to harnessing the power of a successful online business.  But if you’re just limiting your support group to the online world, then I have a newsflash for you…

The offline world is full of fellow business owners who are ready to reveal their business secrets, offer up invaluable advice, and provide you with a fantastic support network.

To be honest, I didn’t realize this myself until I joined up with some local groups in my community.  One group — “Women in Business of Paso Robles” that meets each month,  I thought it would be a fantastic way to meet fellow business women who could share their common interests and frustrations with me.

But boy, was I incredibly pleased to discover that joining an offline network of business owners is so much more than a social opportunity!  I’ve been partial to incredible pearls of wisdom from these talented and ambitious women.  When I have trouble coming up with a fantastic idea for blog articles, I ask my local group members what would interest them.  When I need feedback on a new marketing system, I turn to them for their advice.

Sure, the online world holds plenty of opportunity for connecting with amazing business people from all over the world.  But don’t ignore the many benefits of joining an offline community as well – you just may discover a great business partnership, or get a fabulous idea for your next big product launch!

Online Business Success – Plan, Perform, Profit

Man on computer business marketing 260x300 Online Business Success Plan, Perform, ProfitFor many online marketers
, online business success might feel like more of a lucky shot in the dark.  They’re not sure if they’re approaching their online business in the right way – until it’s too late, and they’re already waist-deep in a mess of low conversion rates, negative reviews and poor SEO efforts.

I want to tell you something right now, online business success doesn’t come down to chance or luck.  Those online marketers who are making thousands –even millions – from their marketing efforts aren’t just incredibly lucky people who just happened to be in the right place at the right time.  They work hard for what they have…

And they meticulously planned out every step of their success!

Want to replicate their success?  Then get ready to embrace the 3 P’s:  Plan, Perform, Profit

Plan

Becoming an online success means knowing exactly what steps you’re going to take at precisely the right time.  No matter what you want to call your plans – a blueprint, a map, a timeline – be sure that you’ve accurately planned out the stages of your online business, including when you want to accomplish your goals.  For example, if you want to build a bigger website, be sure to mark down when you’d like to accomplish this by.  Have a peer or friend look over your timeline to see if your goals are tangible and achievable.

Perform

Now that you have a surefire plan in place, it’s time to move on and get started on performance!

When it comes to online marketing, it’s crucial to stay on top of how your websites, blogs and social media accounts are performing.  Keep track of your online traffic, your site’s bounce rates (the number applied to how many people end up leaving your web page), and your conversion rates.  These performance numbers are the lifeblood of your business – andthey’re the best indicators of whether or not your online marketing business needs some help.

Profit

With a solid plan in place and performance metrics alerting you as to the success of your websites, it’s time to start profiting from your efforts!  Be sure that your social media accounts and blogs contain links back to your website landing pages, and invest in article marketing to drive more traffic to your sites.  It’s going to take some time, but trust me – you’ll see those dollar signs soon enough!

What do you think?  Leave your comments below on these points and share other factors that have helped you with your online business success.

Achieve Online Marketing Success with Your Inner Mindset

Online Marketing Success 300x265 Achieve Online Marketing Success with Your Inner Mindset
When it comes to achieving online marketing success,

you may think that you only need an arsenal of top-notch marketing tools and the  guidance of an expert to help you succeed.   But dig a little deeper, and you’ll quickly discover something crucial about the final outcome of your online marketing business:  if your inner mindset isn’t tuned towards positivity, confidence and determination, then you’ve set yourself up for failure before you even started.

I recently asked a question

on my Facebook fan page wondering what was the one thing that helped you and your ebusiness?

“I don’t think it matters what tools and strategies you use,” says online marketer Carol Dodsley (TheHow2Girl.com).  “If your inner mindset is not in the right place, if your core desires are not clear, and you do not have the confidence or belief in yourself, everything will be a struggle.”

Dodsley touches on a crucial point here.  Without the determination to see your online marketing business through those inevitable dry spells, it can be too easy to give up on your Internet enterprise because “it’s too hard.”

Of course, everything that’s worth doing is “hard” – but if you tend to throw in the reins when the road gets touch, take a closer look at why you have that gut reaction.  Is it because, deep down, you truly believe you won’t succeed?  Do you lack the confidence to pursue your dreams because you feel like you don’t “deserve” it?

Work on adjusting your frame of mind

so that it’s more positive, and you’ll not only reap emotional rewards, but financial ones as well, like marketer Kristen Robinson (KR Design) shared with me: “It’s accounted for over 75% of my sales, and I’ve met awesome business owners who love to help. Giver’s Gain!”

Free yourself from your emotional obstacles so you can finally achieve the online marketing success you deserve.

Share your thoughts below on how you overcome any struggles that might get in your way.

Managing Your Online Reputation in The Age of Social Media

Social Media Managing Your Reputation 300x223 Managing Your Online Reputation in The Age of Social Media

As the Web 2.0 world grows in leaps and bounds, managing your online reputation in the age of social media has become more crucial to your business success than ever before.

Think about it this way: in the absence of face-to-face interactions with your customers, your social media accounts represent the integrity and honesty of your business.  Therefore, if your social networking reputation is less-than-stellar, this could cause pre-qualified prospects to treat your business with caution.

If you want to successfully manage your online reputation in the age of social media, then use the following quick-fire tips and techniques:

  • Interact with your prospects via your social media platforms.  If they post questions or comments about your products and services, take the time to seriously address their concerns or compliments.
  • If a user has posted a negative review on your Facebook or Twitter page, don’t ignore it in the hopes  that it will go away – instead, attack it head on.  Publicly reply to the poster with an apology, and then  offer a resolution that will satisfy the customer.  This will not only please the angry party, but it will  demonstrate to other users that you truly care about your customer service.
  • Finally, don’t treat social media marketing in the same way as direct marketing.  Social media accounts  should be used for data mining and customer segmentation so that you can tweak your direct marketing  campaigns effectively.  There’s nothing that customers hate more than being bombarded with sales  messages on Twitter and Facebook, so try to avoid doing so.  Instead, post coupon codes and special  discounts for your social media fans, which will help direct more traffic to your website.

Managing your online reputation in the age of social media doesn’t have to be difficult – in fact, with these tips and techniques by your side, it can be downright enjoyable.

What ways are you managing your online reputation?  Please share your experience, comments and other tips to add to the list.

Put Your Best Face On for Success

Face in Mirror 256x300 Put Your Best Face On for Success

It came to me while celebrating our son’s 18th birthday.  It was a wonderful reminder of when I turned 18 and where I was and what I was doing back then.

Our son will be off to college in a couple of months.  For me, I was hired right out of high school with a large corporation.  I was the 13th person to be interviewed out of 20.  I got the call that evening they wanted me to start in the morning.

What did I do to ‘stand out’ above the other 19 candidates?  Most were college graduates, had years of experience and yet, I was chosen.  Just barely turned 18, not college bound, and only had part time experience working as a receptionist at the local doctor’s office during my senior year.

From that day forward, it was apparent to me how important it is to put your best face on for success.

I believe now as I believed then, my positive attitude, enthusiasm and optimism is what drives me towards my goals and keeps me on my path for success.

I also believe that we all have this inner drive – it’s just up to us individually on how we will act upon it or not.  Instilling a positive attitude in our son has been a way to encourage him to believe in himself as he moves forward in his new adult life.

What is your best face for success? How do you apply your best face for success?

10 Quick Tips For Getting More Repeat Traffic To Your Site

Website Traffic small 300x260 10 Quick Tips For Getting More Repeat Traffic To Your Site

Let’s face it, no matter who you talk to, what you read or what video you watch, it just always seems to boil down to getting more traffic to your site is key for online business success.

When you get more repeat traffic to your site, you have the opportunity to grab your visitors attention, solve their problems, create conversations building the connection and turns a visitor into a paying customer.

BUT, will they come back the next day, next week or even next month?

Here are some tips to follow for getting repeat traffic to your site:

1. Always provide fresh content to your blog or website on a consistent and frequent basis.  Stagnant sites or out dated content could cause your site to be dropped by some search engines. You might try putting a date counter on the page to show when it was last updated.

2. Offer additional value on your site.  Affiliate products, links and banners when done appropriately and the products are within your market niche, will generate curiosity for your visitor.  Adding a review of the products you are promoting is another great way to add value.

3. Place a “subscribe” or “opt-in” area at the top of your site.  Offer free reports or specials and discounts in return for them subscribing to your list.

4. Have a link or button handy for your visitors to ‘Bookmark or Add this site to your Favorites’.

5. Make sure you have all your social media site icons near the top of your site.  Test them to be sure they are working properly.

6. Branding your site is a great way for visitors to remember you.  Keeping consistent with colors, logos, tag lines and so forth will help your visitors to know they are reaching you.

7. Optimize your blog and each page on your site with appropriate titles and keywords so that your customer can find their way back to your site through online searches.

8. Keep the sales pitches down to a low roar.  Nothing bugs a new visitor than to be ‘barked at’ about buying something from you right now.  Your blog posts should be the communication tool for any programs or products you find helpful or useful to your audience.  Let them decide to click and read about it!

9. Be polite.  When you receive a comment on your blog or site, be sure to thank them for visiting and for taking the time to leave their comments.

10. Have fun.  Be yourself, don’t try to be anyone else.  New visitors will sense this right away.  If you are yourself, have fun and your visitors will soon return again to see what you are doing!

Are you using any of these tips and are they working for you?  Do you have other suggestions to add to this list?

Are There Too Many Groupies in Your Facebook Group

Groupie Facebook Fans thumbnail 300x253 Are There Too Many Groupies in Your Facebook Group

I have been noticing lately that ever since Facebook changed how you can be invited into a group, I literally have found my lists of groups explode! Many of them I would never even consider.

So now I go through this section periodically and quietly leave the group. I don’t want to hurt anyone’s feelings, but then I think, how could I when I never really knew anyone in the group nor did I ever participate.

Facebook groups are awesome when the administrator that sets the group up has a direction, participates and keeps the group motivated by interacting as much as possible. I enjoy groups that get along with one another, shares great content, videos and interacts with each other (hmmmm…. sounds like a couple of great groups I know!)

But then I started noticing something else. Groupies! You know the people that join the group and even though the administrator makes it clear there is to be no spamming or promoting of your products, they seem to think it doesn’t pertain to them.

I remember reading and participating in a wonderful discussion in one of the Mastermind groups I belong in and out of the blue there is a comment that makes no sense but of course there is a link. Next day, we receive a reminder from the administrator of the group that some individuals are self-promoting and their posts and comments have been removed.

So I wanted to ask you - how is your experience been with Facebook groups?

Wishing you and your business continued Success!

Online Business Success – Starts With Building Your List

List Building with Free Ebooks Newsletters Reports 300x200 Online Business Success Starts With Building Your List

Get them to sign up and stay!

Building your list is one of the first things you do right away when starting your online business.  It is also an ongoing process of adding contacts daily to your list.  When your visitors sign up or subscribe with you, these are all interested and potential customers or clients which will be important to your online business success and profitability.

FREE EBOOK

One way that you can ‘build your list’ is by offering your visitors valuable information through reports, newsletters or a free ebook.  Ebooks have always been popular with everyone since they are digital products that your visitors can have within seconds after signing up with you.  They are easy to produce and people are wanting information, especially if it is something like a ‘how to’ or ‘top keys’ that will get them excited to want your free ebook.

AUTORESPONDERS

After they sign up or subscribe, you need a good autoresponder set up.  This set up should be a series of emails that will be delivered to your potential customer or client on a continual, consistent basis.  These emails should be short but provide lots of good information and value.

Within your series of autoresponder emails, always find a way to link back to your site, your products or services.  Never sell to your email list.  Especially in your first email, which should be a short introduction and reminder why they signed up or subscribed to you.  Then start building a good rapport by providing good content and on occasion suggesting they take a look at your products.

KEEP IT SOCIAL!

Including links to your Facebook page, Twitter, Linked, YouTube and any other social media site that your contacts might be interested in following you is essential.  Let them know that they can chat, follow, share and interact with you.  Your customers and contacts will love the fact that you are accessible and happy to interact with them.

Key to any list building strategy is always keeping in mind it is about ‘building’ connections.  It will take time, but if you do it properly you will not only build a big list but your contacts will turn into customers and want to stay on your list.  That should always be the goal.

There are so many creative ways to get people to your list.  Please share some of your thoughts, ideas and suggestions.

Has Your Business Hit a Home Run, Or you Still in the Dug out?

Jason Brown March 2008 PR Tournament small 242x300 Has Your Business Hit a Home Run, Or you Still in the Dug out?

Okay, so this is so much out of the norm for me.  But my husband and I so much enjoy watching our son play baseball.  He is finishing his final season as he will be graduating high school and then trying to get onto a college team.

Yup, that is our son hitting a double with an RBI.   That picture was in our local paper …..

It made me think about how the ‘game’ of baseball relates to our business.

After all, you start out learning how to hit, catch the ball and play the game.  Then you practice, practice and more practice so you are ready for game day.  Then you play many games each and every day.  Until that special day when you “hit a home run”!

So if you are in the game and feeling overwhelmed, go back to the basics, remember what you learned that made your business get off the ground.  How you were able to get the crowd cheering and wanting more from you.  What are you not doing today, that you were doing then?

And if you are still in the dug out, find the confidence to get ‘on deck’, take that first hit and even if you strike out, get back out there and try again.

It is a game of being focused, staying confident, believing in yourself and never, ever giving up.

So tell me, have you hit a home run lately, are you in the game or are you still in the dug out?

Wishing you and your business much Success!

7 Eye Opening Ideas to a More Social and Profitable Site

Profiting Blog Site thumb 300x226 7 Eye Opening Ideas to a More Social and Profitable SiteRecently I visited a couple of groups and forums that I’m a member of.  It seems that the biggest question, concern and desire that I hear all the time is . . . . wanting to have a ‘profitable site’.

Questions like — ‘can you really make money online’ and statements saying ‘I paid lots of money for a website and I haven’t made any money’.

It amazes me that still so many people think that having a website on the internet is the ‘key to success’ … Well, it is a ‘key’ but really it is a tool for you to promote your business.  How your site is implemented for your business is what really counts.

If you build it … doesn’t mean they will come!

Traffic to your site is required to begin the process of attaining visibility, sales and profits.

THE EQUATION IS LIKE THIS:  You get enough visitors checking out what you have to offer, you will have a higher chance of success.  BUT… there are other things to consider:

1–Provide valuable information

2–Your site is pleasing to the eye and not offensive

3–Content relates to your business or market

4–Easy to navigate

5–Advertising isn’t in your face or obnoxious

6–Site is properly optimized (SEO)

7–You are interacting with your visitors ALL the time

When you have a complete understanding of what today’s social media madness is all about, that is when you will start seeing the results you want  — more traffic, more sales, more profits!

It is called ‘social marketing’ for a reason.  Network with people starting with a well designed blog and get ‘social’ each and every day.

Are You On Target Towards Online Business Success

Target Green Arrow small 300x217 Are You On Target Towards Online Business SuccessYou’ve done all the planning, research and implemented your blog or website.  Are you dominating your audience?  Attracting visitors to your site?  Making sales and increasing profits?

Today’s social marketing allows you to break open your online business into many dimensions and opportunities to attract and build connections with your audience.  Online forums, groups, social sites, videos, webinars, audio, ebooks, articles, online ads, search engines …. the ideas are endless.

How is your online business success?  Here are some points to consider:

–Targeting your market niche is not only necessary, but with today’s online competition, it is a must that you know everything about your market.  For example – Demographics; who are your customers or clients? – Gender, age, education, marital status, etc.  You wouldn’t want to target married women with articles and products for ‘Divorcing Your Man’!  Just as you wouldn’t want to target younger people with products that are for 55-65 year olds.

–Sales up or down? If your business is not moving along and providing the profits and success you have planned for, then consider reviewing and researching your market niche for up to date trends, news and information.

–Determine key points that are working and those that should be changed or even deleted from your marketing plans.  It is smart business practice to make the changes necessary to increase visibility of you, your company, products or services.  Don’t hang onto ads, other marketing or branding that isn’t providing results.

Are you on target?  What business strategies have worked for you?  Please share your strategies or goals that you’ve accomplished and those you think you need to change.

Wishing you a productive and successful day!

Top 5 Reasons A Blog Will Bring Success To Your Online Business

Blog multi color 300x181 Top 5 Reasons A Blog Will Bring Success To Your Online BusinessToday’s social platforms are a tremendous way to build awareness about you and your online business.  A blog is not only important to the success of your business; it is the absolute key in connecting with your visitors and building the customer/client relationships which results in income and profits.

One of the first actions I like to take with my clients is to assess their current social media/marketing plans and to insure a business blog is included and properly implemented.

Here are 5 reasons a blog will bring success to your business:

#1 Easy Setup – If time is money, then setting up a blog is priceless!  A blog is easy to setup and easy to maintain.  No expensive webmasters or long contracts to get your blog up and going.  Once you blog is setup, you can start updating your site in minutes.  Further, you can update your blog from anywhere in the world as long as you have computer access.

#2 Instant Communication – Reaching out to your audience and interacting with them builds important connections for your online business.  With a blog, you can talk with your customers in real time, communicate tips, advice and information along with answering questions they might have.  This responsiveness is a vital part of your online business success as it can give your company a ‘leg up’ on the competition!

#3 Customer Feedback -  Knowing what your customers are thinking or what they really want is gold.  Getting that feedback can be a challenge.  BUT, your business blog can gather this information by posting simple and fun surveys, ask open-ended questions and other queries to get your audience interacting with you.

#4 Bring A Face To Your Business – A well implemented business blog can give important information to your potential and current customers that tells them who and what kind of business you are.  Keeping your profile and contact information up to date will be key and is easy to do at any time with your blog.  Adding and updating your blog with company awards, personal recommendations and testimonials is something your audience can see at any time they are visiting your blog.

#5 Resource of Information – A business blog makes the perfect resource of information.  Customers at anytime will be able to visit your blog to find out about you, your company, and learn about your products and services.  They will be able to interact with you by leaving comments, questions and inquires on your posts and articles.

These are just a few of the reasons a blog is important to the success of your online business.  What other reasons are your blog helping you in your business?  Please leave your comments, ideas and suggestions below.

Wishing you a productive and successful day!
